I spent this past Saturday with Caryn, getting sunburned while drinking mint juleps and mimosas outside at Enids for two hours, and then making bracelets out of nature in the park. It was truly wonderful. I can't wait to move to BK.

Why is it that when we’re younger we were more attached to things? My brother had a pair of superman pajamas he insisted on wearing to bed each night. My mother had to wash them every day for him. Toys break and blankies rip but we love them even more and keep playing with them like nothing has happened. Only a kid would keep a barbie doll who has lost it’s head, or wear the same tutu over her clothes every day (yours truly).  How did we get so detached in our old age?
